This may sound strange but, here is my situation. I'm currently on EAD and my I-94 expired last year after i got my EAD. Does this have any impact on my EAD renewal????

1. Where are you planning to go? CAnada. or Mexico or your country of origin.
Depending on the above answer the process will be different.
I am planning to go to Canada because my PR will be ready soon and I have to land to get my cards. I am not planning to stay there. Unfortunately I was born in one of those five countries which I can not go out and in with H1. With this US immigration Retro. I really don't like to lose my Canadian profile.
I am looking for find a way going around this issue and make sure I can come back to us without any problem.
Please let me know if you can help me.
EB3 from ROW, PD of Oct 2003. File RIR and transfer PD with Perm.
Thank you.

From Ron Gotcher:
ImmInfo Newsletter:* The effect of an employer withdrawal of an I-140 (http://imminfo.com/News/Newsletter/2010-07/employer-withdrawal-of-I-140.html)
If an employer withdraws an I-140 after it has been approved, however, the employee is entitled to keep the priority date and use it for any subsequently filed I-140. It doesn't matter that the new I-140 may be for a different job, a different employer, a different location, or even a different preference classification. Once an I-140 is approved, the employee "owns" the priority date forever

First off, the chances of you being denied an H1 renewal are zero to none unless ofcourse you or your attorney made a error on your application (incorrect fees etc).
For argument purposes, if your H1 is denied you could always fall back on your EAD. Denial of H1 does not invalidate your I-485 as long as your "JOB" is still present. Now your entire status is dependent on your AOS application. If you AOS (485) is denied you would have to leave the country.
If your H1 is renewed, you can stay in the US for the entire period of its validity even if your I-485 application is rejected/denied.
As always, take all advice given on a message board with a grain of salt and consult an attorney.

A Non profit organisation is willing to sponsor H1 for my friend who is a Masters degree holder.
Can I get some info about the process to apply for H1 through a Non profit organisation.
I know it does not fall under the 65 k cap, but is unsure of the process and documents needed.
Any links or info will be appreciated.

Hmmmmm....
How about this...
After you applied your 485 and work for the same company for 180 days, also you got your EAD. .....
Can someone change the employer afterwords (after 180 days) without worrying about H1B visa renewal/transfer?
If so what are the requirements....common guru's give us some hopes....
Thanks,
MS

Last week I attended the Annual Immigration Lawyers conference in Las Vegas. During the conference, government officials spent some time to update the attendees of the most recent information and upcoming changes.
It seems that the collection of the $500 fraud fee for new H1B or L-1 petitions is being used to invest in hiring more investigators. One recent trend is that business practices that were standard and went unchallenged previously, now are being viewed as fraud. Many companies must revise their practices to meet current standards. This does not mean that these practices of employers or businesses are necessarily fraudulent.
The biggest frustration for lawyers dealing with H1B's are the unreasonable RFE's being issued by the service since the April 1 filing. USCIS is making requests for photos of the premises, copies of contracts between all involved parties, and evidence of doing business including leases, licenses, and other proof. These requests are onerous for employers, as well as disruptive and harmful to both the employer and the employee when the H1B petition is often denied without valid justification.
USCIS presumes fraud if the employer meets two out of the following three criteria: has been doing business for fewer than ten years, has fewer than 25 employees, and/or has less than $10 million in revenue. Most well-established, bona fide companies started with these drawbacks. Even many large, well-known, highly-reputable companies are being issued intensive requests for evidence (RFEs) that seem to be without basis. This trend must stop, otherwise employers will be discouraged from filing for new H1B workers.
